Where to Use

For high-quality wall and ceiling coatings throughout the home, in schools, kindergartens, public buildings, and in historic preservation. Its allergen-controlled formula makes it ideal for allergy sufferers.

Particularly well-suited for coatings on unpainted mineral plasters of mortar groups PI, PII, and PIII, concrete, exposed calcium silicate brickwork, Capaver ElementEffects, fibreglass wall coverings, woodchip wallpaper, and sound silicate coatings.

Capaver fibreglass wall coverings, gypsum plasters, plasterboard, gypsum building boards, and sound, semi-gloss dispersion coatings can also be coated after appropriate pretreatment. The high proportion of mineral raw materials and natural alkalinity reduces the risk of mould growth on the surface.

Material basis

Potassium silicate with (<5%) organic additives, according to DIN 18363 section 2.4.1.

The main ingredient, calcium carbonate, originates from Austria and Switzerland.

Sylitol® Bio Interior Paint can be machine-tinted to all common colour collections using the ColorExpress system. Factory tinting is also available for orders of 100 litres or more in a single colour. To detect any tinting errors, please check the colour accuracy before application. Use only colours from the same batch on contiguous surfaces.

Traditional tinting can introduce preservatives into the paint. When using Histolith full-tone paints (max. 20%), the preservative-free properties of Sylitol® Bio interior paint are maintained. When tinting yourself, mix the required total quantity together to avoid colour variations.

Storage

Store in a cool, frost-free place.

Shelf life approximately 12 months. Store only in plastic containers.
